How the entire process works

From your first call to your safe return home, Medpro will manage every step of your journey.

2. Tentative treatment plan

Medical reports are forwarded to the selected Indian hospital. The hospital prepares a tentative treatment plan.

4. Government Clearances

Medpro processes all required Kenyan government approvals in parallel: Ministry of Health clearance, NHIF clearance where applicable and all others.

6. Arrival and Admission

On arrival in India, the patient is received by and booked to their accomodation before hospital admission and commencement of treatment.

8. Discharge and return home

Upon completion of treatment,. Medpro coordinates the return journey, including any required documentation, and continues to support the patient through post-treatment review if needed.

1. Medical report and referral letter

The patient presents their existing medical reports, diagnosis, and local referral letter.

3. Medical Quotation

The quotation from the Indian hospital is comprehensive — covering all costs breakdown.

5. Visa and Travel preparation

Medpro facilitates the Indian Medical Visa application at the High Commission of India in Nairobi, secures the hospital invitation letter, and advises on vaccination requirements

7. Treatment and Daily Follow up

Throughout treatment, the Medpro case manager conducts daily check-in calls, monitors patient wellbeing, coordinates with hospital staff, and ensures all everyday needs are met.

9. Reporting

the patient submits a report to Kenya's Ministry of Health as required.
